This major is oriented to the fields of system operation and maintenance, software development, data technology, and the Internet of Things and cultivates senior IT engineering and technical talents adept at knowledge and technologies such as programming designs and programming languages, data management and information systems, intelligent device networking communication, intelligent system algorithm integration, and computer vision and talents with capabilities in computer system operation and maintenance, software system development, and intelligent language programming.

Specialty Features：

●This major is characterized by the implementation of the vocational contextualized talent training model with the core of job ability formation and the scientific research results feed back the teaching. Students complete the works of the subject competition during the learning process. Through the use of immersive experience, embedded training, group cooperative learning and other practical teaching forms, we cultivate students’ innovative thinking and engineering practice ability.
●This major sets up special course modules such as intelligent system C language programming, intelligent system front-end interface implementation, database principle and application, pattern recognition and machine learning, etc., and cooperates with University of Manchester, University of Bristol, University of Sheffield, University of Leeds, etc. to offer master’s degree preparatory courses to provide strong support for the cultivation of high-level talents.
●Our major relies on the school’s national electronics society electronic information talent ability improvement project training base, national youth electronic information science innovation education base, software engineering laboratory, high-performance microprocessor joint laboratory, computer vision laboratory, network engineering experimental training room, cooperates with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Liaoning Fuchuang Precision Equipment Co., Ltd. and other technology companies to establish an off-campus practice teaching base and build a high-quality internship and employment platform for students.
