This major is one of the members of the governing unit of the National University Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Innovation Alliance, facing the fields of intelligent science, automatic control, data technology, etc., cultivating the knowledge and technology of intelligent information perception, big data storage and calculation, pattern recognition and machine learning and has a team of the high-quality engineering and technical talents adept at natural language processing, information perception control, intelligent system development, etc.

Specialty Features：

●This major is characterized by the implementation of the vocational contextualized talent training model with the core of job ability formation and the scientific research results feedback the teaching. Students complete the works of the subject competition during the learning process. Through the use of immersive experience, embedded training, group cooperative learning and other practical teaching forms, we cultivate students’ innovative thinking and engineering practice ability.
●This major sets up special course modules such as intelligent perception , data science, machine learning, embedded control systems, etc., and cooperates with the University of Manchester, the University of Bristol, the University of Sheffield, the University of Leeds, etc. to provide pre-master courses for high-level talent training in order that we can supply strong support for high-level talent training.
●Our major relies on the school’s provincial humanoid robot experimental teaching demonstration center, intelligent perception and motion control laboratory, robot vision laboratory, robot simulation laboratory, industrial robot laboratory, etc. In conjunction with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Liaoning Fuchuang Precision Equipment Co., Ltd., Technology companies such as SIASUN Robotic Automation Co., Ltd., we have established off-campus practice teaching bases to build high-quality internship employment platforms for students.
