It cultivates senior professionals in drama, film and television creation who master the knowledge and skills of language and literature, literary theory, drama, film and television creation, who are familiar with the production process of drama, film and television products, and who have the abilities of film and television work planning and execution, film and television script text analysis, scene scheduling and organization.

●With the implementation of the vocational situational talent training, the major cultivates professional talents of drama, film and television directors through practical teaching forms such as immersive experience, order training and group cooperative learning.
●So as to provide strong support for the cultivation of high-level talents, this major offers short play director creation, film and television drama creation and other courses, studios, art creation, film and television drama production, digital film and television technology and other characteristic course modules, and cooperates with the University of Birmingham, the University of Leeds, the University of Nottingham, the University of Edinburgh and other universities to set up master’s preparatory courses.
●Relying on the university’s Digital Film and Television Industrial Park, Green Island Film, Film and Television Drama Creation Laboratory, Short Video Creation Laboratory, etc., the major builds a high-quality practical teaching platform jointly with China Film Group, light media, Huayi Brothers, Benshan media, Liaoning People’s Art Theater and other enterprises.
